I’m a therapist, yoga teacher, and fellow human who’s all about about helping people navigate life’s ups, downs, and in-betweens with more ease, self-compassion, and connection.
With more than twenty years of experience working with adults across Washington state (both in-person and online), my approach is grounded in mindfulness, creativity, and body awareness. With specialized training in art therapy, yoga, DBT, EMDR, and perinatal mental health, I bring a holistic, down-to-earth perspective to therapy. Whether you’re moving through anxiety, grief, trauma, or a big life transition like becoming a parent, I’m here to support you in a way that feels steady, safe, and tailored to you.
Before becoming a therapist, I was (and still am) a yoga teacher. I completed my 500-hour yoga certification back in 1999 and have continued to integrate body-based practices into my work ever since. I’ve also taught future art therapists as an adjunct faculty member at Antioch University Seattle and continue to offer professional consultation.
What I love most about this work is witnessing the quiet, powerful shifts that happen when people feel truly seen and supported. My style is warm, collaborative, and deeply respectful of your unique story, strengths, and needs. I show up with authenticity, curiosity, care, and sometimes a sense of humor—because healing can be hard work, but it doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.
When I’m not working, I’m probably out for a walk, getting a good stretch, listening to music, cooking or hanging out with the people (and cat) I love.
